REACHING NAINITAL

By Road: The distance from New Delhi is approximately 300km, depending on whether you choose the route from Kaladunghi or Haldwani. It takes around 5-8 hours on the road.

Bus: There are several buses- a/c, non-a/c, Volvo, which run between New Delhi and Nainital. There a both Private and State Transport buses that run between Delhi and Nainital.

By Train: As there is no direct train to Nainital one can take the train up till Kathgodam (30 km from Nainital) and from there either hire a cab or take the bus up till Nainital. There are 3 trains that run between Kathgodam and New Delhi, 2 leave from the Old Delhi railway station, while one leaves from the Anand Vihar train station.
